We deploy portable wash pad systems, designed for your site footprint. A portable wash pad — also called a modular wash pad, since it is built from interchangeable steel sections — is a deployable work surface with built-in secondary containment for hydroblasting, turnarounds, and equipment decontamination. At 40 tons per section, Evans wash pads are rated for the heaviest equipment on site. When the job is done, our crew decommissions the wash pad. No concrete pour. No excavation.

How portable wash pad services work: scope to setup
You call with the application and site
Tell us what you’re washing, the available footprint, and what the ground looks like. That’s enough for us to configure a layout and confirm site prep.
We survey and configure
Before we unload a single section, we shoot elevations across the site to confirm drainage. Acceptable surfaces include gravel, mats, concrete, and asphalt.
We install and test
Secondary containment goes in first. We set the pad sections inside it, gasket the seams, and bolt every joint. Before handoff, we test every connection for a watertight seal.
We decommission and haul off
When the job’s done, we break it down and take it off site. No oversize permits for transport, and no permanent footprint left behind.

Most Evans wash pads go out through contractors who re-rent to the plant. When you include contained wash capacity in your offer, you walk in as the only vendor covering the full liquid scope. We provide the site drawings, sales materials, and on-site support.
Turnaround and Shutdown Cleaning
On a turnaround, the wash bay is the bottleneck. With one wash point, crews queue. But with two or three running in parallel, you take days off the schedule. Equipment rolls up the integrated ramps or cranes directly onto the deck.
Hydroblasting Containment
Hydroblasting needs a contained surface rated for the load and the pressure. The pad delivers a structural deck rated at 40 tons per section, integrated drainage, and a tested watertight system, so nothing leaves the pad.
Equipment Decontamination
Before equipment leaves a regulated site, it has to be cleaned and documented. A dedicated, contained wash surface keeps decontamination out of uncontrolled areas and gives the crew the same setup on every job.

Yes, we can configure any size the job needs. The smallest wash pad we build is 20' x 10', or two 5' x 20' sections. From there we add modular sections to fit your footprint, up to 40' wide, with walls on whichever three sides the workflow requires.
All we need is a flat, load-bearing surface. Gravel, mats, concrete, and asphalt are all acceptable. Before we unload a single section, we survey site elevations to confirm drainage.
Installation runs one day to a week depending on the size and site conditions. Evans crews handle the full install and decommission.
Rental inventory is available at all times. Planned installs typically need 4 to 12 weeks for site coordination, but emergency deployment is possible within a week.
No. The pad collects and contains wash water in the troughs. Water is evacuated by the contractor using a vacuum truck, diaphragm pumps, or submersibles for treatment, recycling, or disposal. Evans supplies the AOD pumps for the transfer if needed.
No. We ship wash pad sections on standard flatbed trucks. Smaller configurations ship on a single truck. No special oversize permits required.
